Service Overview

Reliable Slab Waterproofing
Services in Sri Lanka

Looking for professional slab waterproofing services in Sri Lanka? We offer long-lasting, affordable, and expert concrete slab waterproofing solutions covering residential, commercial, and industrial properties across the island.

A leaking roof slab is one of the most common and damaging problems faced by Sri Lankan buildings. Our tropical climate — with monsoon rains exceeding 2,500mm annually — means that poorly waterproofed slabs degrade rapidly. Water penetrating the slab corrodes reinforcement steel, weakens concrete, causes ceiling damage, and drives up repair costs exponentially over time.

We apply certified Supercrete New Zealand cementitious and membrane waterproofing systems directly to the concrete slab surface, creating a permanent, seamless barrier that moves with the structure without cracking.

1
Free Site Inspection

All cracks, joints, pipe penetrations and vulnerable areas are treated with appropriate repair mortars and reinforcement tape before the main application.
4
Waterproofing Application
The certified Supercrete NZ system is applied in the specified number of coats, at the correct thickness and coverage rate — exactly as the manufacturer requires for warranty validity.

Common Questions

Slab Waterproofing FAQs

How do I know if my slab needs waterproofing?
Common signs include damp patches or water stains on ceilings, visible cracks in the slab, rust stains (from corroding rebar), peeling paint, and musty odors. Even if you don't see active leaking, old slabs may have degraded protective coatings that need renewal before damage begins.
Can you waterproof a slab that already has tiles?
In some cases, yes — injection systems and negative-side applications can work over tiled surfaces. However, for the most effective and long-lasting result on a flat roof, we recommend applying the waterproofing system directly to the concrete substrate before any final finishes are laid.
How long does the application take?
For a typical residential roof slab (100–200 sqm), the application takes 2–4 days including surface preparation and curing time. Larger commercial projects are scheduled according to access, weather conditions and client requirements.
